Students can apply for admissions at SRM University either online by visiting www.srmuniversity.ac.in/ to register and pay online or get the "Application Form" with Prospectus & Guidelines from University Counter* by paying Rs.1060/- either in Cash or DD in favour of SRMERI payable at New Delhi, to the below given Address.

Before applying to SRM university, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria for various Courses

For B. Tech Programs: Candidate must have passed 12th or an equivalent examination with 50%, recognized by State or Central Education Board. The candidates appeared in 2017 for 12th and waiting for the result, are eligible for the exam.
For B.Com/B.Com (Hons)*/BBA: Candidate must have passed 12th or an equivalent examination, recognized by State or Central Education Board. The candidates appeared in 2017 for 12th and waiting for the result, are eligible for the exam. Candidate must have taken five subjects in 12th. He/she must have studied two papers from amongst Accountancy Business Studies, Economics & Mathematics with 50% marks in aggregate.
For BBA.LL.B (Int.)/B.A.LL.B (Int)/B.Lib.I.Sc/BBA-MBA (Int.): Candidate must have passed 12th  or an equivalent examination, recognized by State or Central Education Board and must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates appeared in 2017 for 12th and waiting for the result, are eligible for the exam.
For LL.B., M.A (English), MA (Economics), M.Lib.I.Sc & MBA: Candidate must have passed l;graduation or an equivalent examination in any discipline from a UGC recognized University with 50% marks in aggregate.
Candidates applying for three-year LLB program must have passed graduation or an equivalent exam in any discipline from a UGC recognized University with 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates appeared in final year qualifying exam in 2017 and waiting for the result, are eligible for the exam.
M.Sc. Microbiology (Pharmaceutical): Candidate must have passed graduation or an equivalent examination in any field of Life Sciences/Microbiology/Biology/Biotechnology/and Medical Laboratory Technology from a UGC recognized University with 50% marks in aggregate
The candidates who have passed in final year qualifying exam in 2017 and waiting for the result, are also eligible for the exam.

1.      Tech in CSE Program:

Candidate must have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology or an equivalent degree in an appropriate area or M.Sc. (Computer Science/Information Technology) or MCA and must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate.

M.Tech (ME /Production Engg): Candidate must have passed B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering/Automobile Engineering/Industrial Engg/Aeronautical Engineering and must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate.
For M. Tech in CE/ Structural Engineering Program: Candidate must have passed bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Technology and must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate.
PhD Programme: Candidate must have passed Post graduation in the relevant discipline from a UGC recognized University with 50% marks in aggregate. However, an applicant with M. Phil/CSIR - UGC/JRF/NET cleared in the relevant subject are exempted from Entrance test.
